There are 318 curves in 11 miles on The Dragon...and they are sharp and steep!
Photographer at The Dragon. There are several who set up shop at strategic curves along the route, snapping photos of every rider as they pass, offering them for sale as proof of the ride.
North Carolina state line on The Dragon. The ride winds down at this point. These riders are coming up The Dragon from Deal's Gap, about 1/2 mile south of the Tennessee-North Carilona state line.

Cherokee National Forest, North Carolina. Great rides continue south of the Dragon in North Carolina. The highway traverses a ridgeline that rises to 5400 feet.
