Tappan Zee Bridge - Rush HourHow many dozens of times I've travelled this bridge in my life - alone, with family and friends. Even my parent's bodies were transported over the Tappan Zee after dying 1/4 mile north of its western terminus at Nyack Hospital, and transported to their site at Mt. Hope Cemetery in Hastings-on-Hudson. Lots of memories.
Today, I travelled over the TZB to make a site visit to Yonkers Public Schools, to inspect their facilities. My dad grew up in Yonkers and graduated from Yonkers Public Schools. I even walked the halls of Charles Gorton HS today, 65 years after he graduated.
